Growing up in Fenton, Dr. John Mischel attended Rockwood Summit High School, where he played lacrosse and discovered his passion for how the body moves. From there, he attended Southeast Missouri State University, achieving a Bachelor's in Biology.
His journey then led him to Logan College of Chiropractic, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and obtained a Master's in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. For the past decade, Dr. Mischel has had the privilege of practicing chiropractic care, a field he deeply loves for its natural approach to health issues, steering clear of surgeries and prescriptions. He has worked with patients from all walks of life and levels of activity, treating individuals as young as two weeks old to overcome birthing trauma and helping professional athletes improve their performance and reduce recovery time.
In his practice, Dr. Mischel blends his expertise of rehabilitation and functional medicine to craft personalized care plans for his patients. His goal isn't just to alleviate symptoms but to foster a state of overall well-being within them.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Mischel is blessed with a wonderful family. His lovely wife Kelly and their two children, Oliver and Hazel, bring immense joy to his life, grounding him in what truly matters outside the clinic walls.
Kelly is proud to call St. Louis, Missouri, her home. She attended Ursuline Academy for high school and Drury University for college, where she played on their women's soccer team. Kelly dedicated several years to teaching before stepping back to raise a family. With her children now getting older, she has taken on the role of office manager.
In her role, Kelly ensures the office runs smoothly and assists patients with their exercises and therapies. Outside of work, she enjoys fashion, spending time with her family, and playing soccer.
Kelly understands that people want to get healthier but don't always know where to start. She believes that nutrition is the foundation that which everything builds upon. By helping patients understand what's happening in their bodies and what they need to put into it, she aids them in their journey to better health.
