In our office, rehabilitation equipment plays a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellness. Our selection of rehabilitation equipment caters to the diverse needs of our patients and complements the treatment modalities we offer. Here are some of the things you'll find when you come into our office.
This includes various types of exercise machines, resistance bands, stability balls, and foam rollers. The therapeutic exercises prescribed by Dr. John are aimed to help strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and restore functional movement patterns. Equipment like resistance bands and stability balls allow for progressive resistance training and stability exercises, which are essential for rehabilitation.
Also known as Adjusting Tables, these are the pieces of equipment that we use to perform the adjustments. The tables have movable pieces that allow for lighter force and more specific adjustments to be performed.
Traction therapy is used to decompress the spine and alleviate pressure on nerves, discs, and surrounding tissues. We use a variety of devices that can focus specifically on the neck, low back, or work on the whole body. So, depending on what is going on, we will be able to focus our treatment on that region to promote faster healing.
Training the body to respond to unstable conditions is one of the best ways to speed up the healing process. Vibration platforms, stability discs, and balance boards are a few ways we train stability. The vibration platform is also a great way to build up strength in the legs, put motion into the lumbar spine, and support lymphatic flow.
Computerized rehabilitation systems and virtual reality technology allow us to extend our care past the walls of the clinic. We are able to create specific at-home therapies, provide interactive feedback, track progress, and engage patients in therapeutic activities that simulate real-life movements and environments.
